Do you place Locum Doctors?
We are permanent recruitment specialists and focus on fixed term solutions only, therefore we do not have a conflict of interest by supplying locum doctors. Our focus from inception has been to reduce the huge locum spend of the NHS by finding suitable doctors who will work on a permanent basis and stay at their posts for the long term.
How long will you take to find a suitable doctor?
This will vary from post to post. Once we have a strong understanding of your requirements, we will source the most suitable candidates. On average, it can take between 3-6 months from shortlisting a CV to the candidate starting work and we will ensure all pre-employment checks have been completed. We have also placed some doctors within a few weeks, so it can be much quicker as well. Most candidates will have a notice period of 3 months, so that is a factor in the overall timeframe.
What specialisms do you cover?
We place candidates at SHO, Middle Grade and Consultant level across all specialities including:
- Acute Medicine
- Adult Psychiatry
- Anaesthesia
- Care of the Elderly (Geriatrics)
- Child & Adolescent Mental Health
- Community Paediatrics
- Emergency Medicine
- General (Internal) Medicine
- General Surgery
- Haematology
- Obstetrics & Gynaecology
- Old Age Psychiatry
- Orthopaedics
- Paediatrics
- Psychiatry
- Radiology
- Respiratory Medicine
We also cover a number of other specialist medical areas. Please ask us if you are unsure.

What frameworks are you on?
We are on the NHS LPP/CPP framework and also the International Recruitment of Clinical Healthcare Professionals framework.
Since February 2016, following a rigorous tender process we were awarded sole supplier status for a client in Northern Ireland and have been responsible for recruiting doctors across all their sites.
We will always keep updated on new framework opportunities and seek to continue our goal to help the NHS and reduce locum spend.
How much will it cost and when do we pay?
We will only invoice you once the doctor has arrived in the UK and has begun to work. There are no upfront costs or hidden repeated costs, we will only ever invoice you once. Our fees are framed to offer you value for money and we are happy to speak with you to design a fee structure that works best, be it a fixed fee % on annual salary or a fixed fee for speciality. Please contact us to discuss.
